About Us

D. G. (Don) Whitfield is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his formal education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N. C. where he graduated with a Business Degree with focus on economics, sales and marketing.

His passion for computers, programming and the Internet began in the early 80’s when the Internet was accessed and used primarily by government and educational institutions. After retirement, he formed Whitfield and Associates, a business consulting and web site development company located in Chattanooga, TN. The name of the business was changed recently to Whitfield Creative Web Designs.

Don retired from Shaw Industries, Inc., a Fortune 200 and Berkshire Hathaway Corporation, where he held  Division Vice President of sales and marketing positions and retired as Division Vice President of Shaw Rugs. He is active as a business consultant.
